About Polly Joan . . .

Polly Joan is a Finger Lakes Artist who loves the beautiful colors and images of the Finger Lakes Region. If you love the Finger Lakes, you'll love Polly Joan's photography.

Polly's images support an intrinsically natural impression of the beauty of this region. Her whimsical side portrays unique views of wildlife and domestic animals. Her flower photography is extraordinary, sensual, and vibrant.

Polly studied Art History and drawing extensively at Oberlin College earning a BA degree. She received a Masters from Cornell University in literature and writing. In 1989 she started her own business, marketing her photography to an enthusiastic public.

Using only the highest quality archival cotton mat board, photographic paper, and inks, she uses products that are supportive of the environment yet her giclee prints will maintain their quality for a hundred years. Generally, she uses matte black Nielsen frames, but other options are available on request.

Polly Joan's photography has been sold to colllectors throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, and Asia. Residing in Ithaca, New York, she sells from her website in the winter months and at the colorful Ithaca Farmer's Market on Cayuga Lake during the summer and fall in Booth #27.
